After fitness, we often feel that the muscles are sore, sometimes short-term, after an hour or two of fitness, or the next day after the training. And in the gym we often hear some fitness veterans say to the novice: "Muscle soreness is right, indicating that you are right, this is long muscles."
But does the muscle soreness really mean that we are right?
Why is muscle sore after exercise?
First, explain why muscles are sore after exercise. Generally, muscle soreness after exercise is due to the large amount of lactic acid produced during training. When the lactic acid produced by human body movement is greater than the body's own consumption of lactic acid, lactic acid will hinder the circulation of blood. The phenomenon of muscle soreness is formed. However, this kind of lactic acid produced by exercise is a normal phenomenon, but it gives people a feeling of soreness. Generally, it will automatically disappear after about 5 days without continuing to exercise. If you continue to exercise, it will be eliminated in 2 to 3 days.
Can you continue to practice in the sore area?
When the body is sore, especially in areas that have already been exercised, it is recommended that the practitioner not practice the part that has already been exercised. The main reason is to give the muscles that have been exercised a break because the growth of the muscles requires rest and recovery. Give everyone a chestnut. If you train your arm muscles that day, your arm muscles will be sore the next day, or your arms will be sore and you will not bend properly. In this case, it is recommended not to practice the arm muscles, but to practice the muscles in other parts of the body, such as leg muscles, back muscles, and shoulder muscles.
How to eliminate exercise pain
The study found that 5 to 10 minutes of warm-up before exercise can improve exercise performance, reduce muscle damage and reduce muscle soreness; static stretching after exercise can also help reduce the pain of the next day. Secondly, aerobic exercise and long-term aerobic exercise are beneficial to the automatic decomposition of lactic acid produced in the body and generate energy, thereby reducing the accumulation of lactic acid in the body and eliminating and alleviating muscle soreness after exercise.
